La masia Cal Gori
Enlaire Vins

Our story

Cal Gori · Subirats · Alt Penedès

Closing the circle

Enlaire Vins began to take shape in 2009, when we moved to Masia Cal Gori (Subirats, Alt Penedès), a 15th-century farmhouse surrounded by old vines planted on hillsides. After some years working in other fields, in 2016 we took a step further and set out to create a winery to turn the most special plots on the estate into wine.

It was born of the need to close the circle: to dignify the land, restore the value of the farmer’s craft and give a voice to the landscape we live in. We do it honestly, learning from biodynamic farming and understanding that being a farmer goes far beyond producing: it means caring for the land, the landscape and all the life within it.

How we work

Caring for every step

Our terrain, broken into small plots that climb to 380 metres above sea level, leads us to work slowly and by hand. We use small machinery and do the work as manually as possible, adapting to the land rather than the other way round.

Our production is limited, which allows us to take care of every step of the process, from planting and tending the vines to the final labelling of each bottle. We like to be there, to observe and to step in only when needed. Being present at every stage is how we understand our craft.

The vineyards

Vineyards with a name of their own

They appear one by one on the technical sheets: Jan and Barber, planted in 1939; Llúcia, Mariano, Ramon, Sisquet, Peret Silet, Noguer, Triangle del Poble… and Els Plans in Maldà. Every bottle says which vineyard the grapes came from.
